All I want for Christmas is...a Playstation 3, CoD, a new bike, an iPad...?

Hello,
I'm sorry for not writing for a long time, but I'm honest, I hadn't had a lot of freetime because of school and now we have winter break :)
We have so much snow here in Germany, do you also have snow?
Christmas is in four days and yeah, I'm one of those persons who writes something about it.

Every year it's the same question: What do you want for Christmas?

And many people already know the answer, because they begin to think about their present(s) pretty early - I know people who know what they want for Christmas in September.

When I was younger my mom asked me to write a wish list, with many things written on it and she decided what to buy and what'd be my Christmas gift.

Okay, sometimes I miss that, but not because of the presents, it's because I'd like to be very excited on Christmas eve for not knowing what's under the fir tree.

I'm not old, but I can say that I have "everything". Of course there's always something you want, maybe just a new jacket or new shoes, but I can say that I'm happy with those things I have.

2010 was a very nice year for me, I've been to England and to Italy and I spend so much time with the people I love. There are so many people in the world who can't say that they're happy.

And hey, c'mon Christmas is not about the presents you get. What I like most about Christmas is that I can spend an amazing day with my family. We celebrate Christmas in an Italian way, we eat fish at night, because we're Catholic and meat is "forbidden" for the 24th (but I never eat meat, so it's not a big deal for me).

You don't have to do something special at Christmas it's just about beeing together with the people you love.

So Mariah Carey, it's true: I actually don't want the same person that you want for Christmas, in my eyes the "you" is for the people I love :)

Do you know those moments when a song describes exactly how you feel?

Bad person - interesting person?

What makes a person interesting?

I don't mean the beauty of a person, because that's in the eye of the beholder, I mean a really, really interesting character. 

To me, the bad person of a movie or series is always the most interesting one. But why?

I guess because we also expect that we'd have such a person in our lives (or is it just me?).

I never met a person who was that interesting that I wanted to find out more about his or her character.

I wish that one day I'll meet that kind of person.

PS. I'm not trying to say that anyone outta here is boring.

Good examples?

Tony Stonem from Skins. 
I'd describe him as a cold, nasty, arrogant and big-headed person. But there's a background, there's a reason why he acts like that. 

 

Blair Waldorf  from Gossip Girl.
Very similar to Tony Stonem, I think.
She's just playing the bad bitch, she tries to hide that she's a broken-hearted girl.

Liam and Noel Gallagher, members of the British band Oasis.
Both had an unhappy childhood, they were often beaten by their alcoholic father. Everyone called Liam "Peggy's shadow", because he was always by his mom's side, while Noel had to feel most of their dad's violence.
To this day the two brothers have a bad relationship, even if they're adults.
They're famous for their bad behavior and nasty demeanor, but if they're really like that, why should they write songs like Wonderwall?
You should read their story on wikipedia, it's very interesting.

Do you know anyone with a really special character?

Venice is wonderful.

I apologize for writing so late. I spend three wonderful weeks in Italy :)
I was living in Friuli-Venezia-Giulia, nearby Pordenone.
The weather was nice, we went to Verona and Venice.
Venice is so wonderful and we've been so lucky: the weather was fantastic!

I found out that I fell in love with AC/DC and Muse. My god, they're so amazing!

Guten Abend! :)
September is nearly over, normally it's one of my favorite months in the year, but this year it's too cold in Germany :(
I'll go to Venice in exactly one week. I'm very excited!

Today is saturday, my "new" favorite day of the week, because it is the only day I can chill.
And I can play as much guitar as I want.
Last week I tried to play "Gewinner" by Clueso, a wonderful German song, but difficult.
It takes more time, so I thought I could learn another song and today I began to learn "Hey, soul sister"
by Train.
Just a cute song :)
Btw I learned "Wonderwall" by Oasis two weeks ago and I'm really proud :P

Special day and favorite books.

Today was a special day, because I met a person, who I haven't seen for six years.
It's normally a very close person, but "he" was a stranger for me.
I feel weird. Touched. I don't know. I don't want to talk much. Just write, write, write, write something down...
Maybe about books, because that person gave me a book as a present.
It's not a special book, but the first book he gave me 2003 is really special. It accompanied my life.
You should know it, its name is "The little prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

It's an amazing book. Here's my favorite quote (in French of course) :)

« On ne voit bien qu'avec le cœur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux. » 

What's your favorite book and why?
The little prince and Dorian Gray are my favorites. The little prince because it means something for me as a subject and because my favorite cousin read it out loud for me about thousand times, when I was a child.
And the story is amazing as I said. Very poetic and it tells us everything about important things in our lives.
And you know what I think about Dorian Gray, don't you? ;)
